How did you start modeling?
I knew what I wanted to do since the age of 4. My parents were models and so I guess modeling runs through my blood. I first applied for Femina Miss India 2012 and that’s where I got the kind of exposure I needed. The following year I was the titleholder of Femina Style Diva 2014, which led me to the Femina cover page this year. I started getting noticed and went on to do runway shows for top designers.
What does your career do for you?
My career gives me the opportunity to meet so many amazing people from all around the world. It gives me an understanding of so many different cultures. It gives me a sense of independence. It makes me want to work harder every single day of my life.
What’s your most memorable shoot?
The Femina Cover shoot – Every minute that I was on set I had to pinch myself to actually realize where I’m at. I never thought I would be on a cover of one of the most prestigious magazines at the age of 21. I got to wear amazing outfits - top brands like Armani.
The most memorable moment of that shoot was to see the happiness in my parent’s eyes. I think that was the moment I realized that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life.
What do you think MODELLIST-ID can do for the model community?
It can help people who are new in this industry like me to understand the life of a model. It can connect us to multiple people around the world who have the same vision. It makes me happy to see that we’re all in this together like one happy family! :)
Who do you admire and would you like to meet?
I admire Tyra Banks and would absolutely love to meet her someday. I’ve grown up watching her interviews, runway shows etc. According to me she is the perfect definition of a supermodel. She teaches us that to make it big in modeling industry you have to learn to appreciate yourself just the way you are and I think that has helped me immensely.
What’s your favorite book/film/music?
I love the 50 shades of Grey trilogy by E.L James as well as The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
One of my all time favorite movie is The Intouchables.
I love pop music..! Also current favorite artists are Meghan Trainor, Sam Smith, Coldplay.
What’s your beauty regime?
Every day workout, using a mild neem facewash at intervals (Girls, biggest secret for clear skin is any neem based product!) moisturizing my body every time, drinking lots of water.
Most importantly I remove every bit of make up before sleeping; it keeps me looking fresh the next day.
And what is the one beauty product you can’t live without?
People who know me know that I have this undeniable love for make up!

If had to pick;
Favorite Red Lipstick would be Rouge Allure by Chanel
All time favorite moisturizer is Nivea Body Milk
L’Oreal Telescopic mascara

What are your favorite hang out spots in the city you live in (current location)?
Mumbai has some really amazing hangout spots like Asilo at Palladium Hotel. It’s a beautiful rooftop lounge with dim lights and the perfect setting.
Irish House, Phoenix and Starbucks to name a few.

What is your favorite city and where do you like to hang out there?
London, Las Vegas and New York City..!
Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?
You will always feel that somebody else is better than you. But the day you start accepting your body as it is and start loving yourself for exactly the way you are is the day you will become a better model. When you start appreciating yourself I promise you, you will never be insecure ever again in your life. Yes, there is a lot of competition in this industry but always always stay true to yourself and be the best that you can be! Work with what you have and make your mark.

What are your plans for the future?
I’d like to focus on modeling fulltime. I want to travel around and work internationally as well.
