DETOX METHODS: BAKING SODA & LEMON

It’s important to keep the ph-level of your body balanced. Every morning I start my day with a glass of hot water with freshly squeezed lemon juice and a teaspoon of baking soda. It’s a great way to alkalize your body and to get rid of toxins.

You really should consider lemons as best friends when it comes to your health. They help you detox in many ways: their antimicrobial effect treats bacterial and fungus infections, they battle with internal parasites (and most of the time, they win), they have a positive effect on the nerve system, they regulate blood pressure, stimulate the lymph flow and are rich in vitamin c. And that is amongst many other things. And in combination with baking soda you’ll have team of champions to clean and nourish your body from the inside, as baking soda is also alkalizing and detoxifying.

So start your day with a big glass of lukewarm water with the juice of one lemon and a teaspoon of baking soda. Make sure you wait half an hour before you drink or eat anything else so the body can really absorb all the goodness from this powerful drink.
