Diwali OOTD

A day in our life when we take a break from all the hustle and bustle of our workaholic lives and relive the childhood and light candles and make rangoli's - The festival of Diwali. There's a kid in all of us and we all get tempted towards bursting crackers. For me, I'd like to think that instead of spending a grand or two on these crackers that are perished and are temporary moments of fun, one could spend the same amount on buying clothes that would last you a year or two.

One could go the over the top and accessories or go the simple way like I did.

I really like the mirror work on this long kurta. I could wear it as a long shirt dress to college or work. Infact, today morning I wore it like a shirt dress but was stopped by the mother and told to put the churidar :P Well, on this day how can I say no to her especially when it is her birthday!

What are you wearing today? Let me know by commenting below
